Our WEDDING DAY!

We were united in marriage on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Mayfair Church of Christ. The ceremony took place at half after four with Dr. Gary Bradley officiating the double-ring ceremony.

May God forever and always be the center of our marriage!
The symbolism behind this picture: Like a triangle, with us as the bases and God as the point, may we always strive to grow closer to God, and in turn grow closer to each other...not the other way around.

On that beautiful Saturday afternoon, while the sun was shining brightly and a gentle breeze was blowing outside the church, the southern bride walked down the aisle in an elegant, sweetheart, fit and flare Casablanca satin gown with beaded lace appliqué, accented with Swarovski crystals and pearls – a true southern belle. Having chosen a waist-length veil trimmed in beaded crystals and a dainty rhinestone headband, the bride carried a bouquet of soft pink roses as she was escorted by her father.

Serving as flower girls, the nieces of the groom wore white, ankle-length satin dresses adorned with a white lace ribbon and carried a white basket with pearls and soft pink petals as they descended the aisle before the bride.

The sister of the bride attended as the Maid of Honor. As both family and friends, the bridesmaids wore full-length, one-shoulder satin ball gowns in the color "Mermaid." Each carried a bouquet of soft-pink roses.
The father of the groom attended as the Best Man. The groom and his attendants wore black tuxedos with white (groom) and mermaid (groomsmen) vests and ties.

Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church gymnasium where elegantly decorated white linen-covered tables with mermaid runners, pink rose topiary centerpieces, and pearls were awaiting the guests. The bride chose a four-tiered, strawberry cake covered with white pearl fondant, lace details, sheer pink ribbon, and topped with a custom-made acrylic topper. The groom chose cookie cake for his groom's cake.

The happy couple made their way though a line of bubbles as they departed for a week-long honeymoon in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.

What a blessed day to share with God, family, and friends!!
