CONTINUED: the Lanza tradition of lights

The Lanza tradition of lights continues...

Paul's grandparents, Joe and Iris Lanza, began the tradition in 1981 as they shared the joy of lights with others at their home on Horseshoe Trail.

Many have enjoyed the festive decorations for the past 32 years, and while that street will still be lit, the lights will not shine at their well-known home. Instead, the tradition continues at our home, along with our wonderful neighbors who carry the fun and lights along our street!!

This year stars a new band:
There's the Grinch on the keyboard,
Frosty on the drums,
An elf on the electric guitar keeping pace,
Rudolph leading the singing,
And Santa, who's all about that bass!

(We are near the Walmart in Hampton Cove -- there is also another house further down our street with over 80 inflatables, if that is more your thing.)

  1. Oh my gosh, Courtney!!! My family and I, (and then after we married Pat and I) have visited the Horseshoe Trail Christmas lights EVERY year since I moved to Huntsville! I had no idea they were Paul's grandparents! I am so thrilled that you guys are keeping up the tradition. You may see us pull up to take a look at your lights!
